Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze attended the training course for investigators approved under the order of the Minister and the current training process at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Rector of the academy - Zurab Zubadalashvili hosted the Deputy Minister along with his deputies.
In the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the training courses were launched, based on the 6-month action plan approved by the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs.
The plan envisions training on such priority issues as: domestic violence and violence against women, crimes against sexual freedom and inviolability, sexual harassment, peculiarities of conducting separate investigative and procedural actions, and etc. 480 investigators of the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will undergo training within the framework of the mentioned course.
The trainings will continue in the future as well, within the frames of which all investigators will gradually undergo and will be updated in every 6 months. The trainings will be conducted by the employees of the Department of Human Rights Protection and Investigation Quality Monitoring, together with the instructors of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs had a conversation with the trainees and employees of the Academy and wished them success. Aleksandre Darakhvelidze visited the renovated infrastructure of the school as well.
